"On behalf of everyone at Scottish Veterans' Residences, I pay tribute to the life of His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh. He exemplified devoted duty and dedicated service to Queen and country. He was greatly interested in the welfare of Veterans. The thoughts and condolences of our Trustees, Residents, Tenants and Staff are with Her Majesty The Queen, our Royal Patron, His Royal Highness The Duke of Gloucester, and the Royal Family at this very sad time."
