Whitefoord House, Edinburgh

“My deep gratitude to all the staff at Whitefoord House for making my stay a happy one and giving me new hope for the outside challenges in the future”

Our residence in Edinburgh is situated on the historic Royal Mile right in the heart of the city – ideally situated for transport links and all the amenities the city has to offer. Whitefoord House was the first of our residences to open.

Veterans have their own fully furnished en-suite room and access to all the facilities and support on site. The residents’ lounge and other public rooms are all furnished to a very high standard and the newly refurbished dining room provides a full catering service in welcoming surroundings. All meals and laundry service are included.

A professionally qualified social care team provides veterans with counselling services, housing and other support to help them with their recovery and return to independent living where appropriate.

Activities include an on-site gym, gardening, cycling, art, and the opportunity to take part in outdoor weeks in the Highlands. Regular social events are also organised for our veterans.
