SVR publishes its Annual Report for 2025-26

Scottish Veterans Residences has published its Annual Report for 2025.
You can read it here on the website or as a flipbook at: https://heyzine.com/flip-book/e504cb6178.html
The report contains examples of the charity’s impact, work and finances over the past year. In this 12-month period, SVR provided supporting housing to 246 men and women experiencing homelessness: 86 who successfully moved on to their own tenancies or other supported accommodation, and 29 who took up employment. These statistics underline why we remain committed to delivering quality services for those who have served in the Armed Forces and Merchant Navy.

It was satisfying for us to deliver the first phase of Project Heritage in 2025, which saw the restoration and rededication of SVR’s memorial in Eastern Cemetery. This was achieved thanks to the kindness of grant funders and donors, and we now look forward to making further improvements to our burial grounds in Edinburgh and Dundee.
The 2025-26 Annual Report also captures the stories of two former Servicemen: one who is thriving as a resident at Whitefoord House, and the other who used Bellrock Close as a stepping stone to employment and independent living. These are typical examples of the positive impact our charity can have. We can’t deliver these outcomes without the dedication of our staff team and the help of supporters and partners like you.
