Adam's Story

Adam served in the Royal Regiment of Scotland before leaving and trying a number of jobs. He began to really struggle and was then referred to our Bellrock Close service in Glasgow.

Jack's story

Jack was a Combat medical technician during the Falklands Conflict when the ship he was in was attacked from the air. The lasting effects of the attack led him to become homeless and sleeping in the outdoors.

John's story

John served in Iraq and Afghanistan. He became homeless during the Covid-19 lockdown and was sleeping in his car until he heard about SVR.

Calum's story

Calum was a Technician in the RAF for 12 years. Life was pretty good after he left but when his marriage broke down he ended up in a homeless hostel and then in custody.
